Our names are Dakota and Ashlynn Harden. We are the owners of Atlas Massage in Independence, Missouri. Our family moved to this area June 2020, and bought Atlas Massage in February 2021. We have 2 amazing little boys that keep us on our toes, love to help the office stay entertained, and assist in cleaning and decorating. We are so grateful for being able to share our knowledge and journey with you!

Meet Our Therapist
Dakota Harden
Dakota is a Licensed Certified Massage Therapist in the state of Missouri as well as a Certified Holistic Health Care Practitioner. He decided to enter the field of Massage Therapy when he was in high school due to a back injury, which led to losing complete feeling in his right leg and not being able to use it. It was after going to a Licensed Certified Massage Therapist that Dakota regained the feeling and use of his leg, setting the path down this road to helping others find the relief he experienced through customized muscle therapy. His passion is to help his clients regain their health and well-being too. He can also offer you other techniques as a Certified Holistic Health Care Practitioner that will, along with massage, help to relax muscles and keep your body where it needs to be.

VISION: Warm, gentle lighting. Soothing music. Tastefully appointed rooms. Thick, soft massage tables with heated pads and bolsters to insure comfort for the duration of your massage. Aroma therapy if desired, hot and cold stones, oh, and don’t forget the most respectful and skilled therapists trained in both the art and science of the latest massage techniques.
HOLISTIC: Located within Atlas Family Chiropractic, we partner closely with Dr. Sheffer and his team to provide an integrated and holistic approach to health and wellness. Scheduling appointments to coincide with your Chiropractic Adjustment can enhance the effectiveness of both the adjustment and the massage. You do not have to be a client of Dr. Sheffer's in order to receive massage here.
